Finding Direction Without Floundering

This is a period when many lives will be changing – a month of transition for many. Schools change, college to uni, and even fresh uni graduates moving out into what is the ‘real world’ at this time.

There is a lot of nervousness and trepidation already, and compounded with this whole COVID crisis that has added uncertainty to the whole situation, globally.

And it is a time for us all to reflect; for our youths to think deep, and for those of us who mentor and are raising the young dreamers, to instill a positive mindset into them.

Any my football example is this: How will a football coach react when faced with a prospective player who comes and says ‘Coach, I wanna play for your team’, and the coach asks, ‘where do you want to play?’, to which the youngster says ‘just put me in any part of the field and I will show what I can do’!

That is the scenario with many of us, in whatever sphere of society we belong in. And we need to guard against Floundering, and taking a Direction that suits our respective personalities.
