CLARITY IN YOUR WORK SITUATIONS

How to develop clarity in your career as a mid level executive:

As a mid level executive, developing clarity involves having a foresight of how your career progression should be.

It involves reading the handwriting on the wall and cultivating the habit of discerning it.

Here’s how to develop clarity:

1. Discern the signs:

Learn to read the signs before you. Not everything will be spelt out for you. You need to learn how to read the room, read body language and unspoken words.

2. Identify them:

Sometimes, not all signals work in a negative way. It can come in the form of promotion. Perhaps your boss is considering you for a bigger role and is looking at how well you are doing. If you identify the signal correctly, it may be wise for you to step up your game.

3. Utilize the T in KTA:

After identifying the signals, the next thing you should do is to determine what tactic to use. Determine what strategy would best fit the action you are about to take and go for it.

Most importantly, remember that developing a clear mind will help you overcome challenges and obstacles better than the average person.
