THE AFTERMATH OF COVID TO AFRICAN FOOTBALL

African football is undergoing dealings as a result of the severity of COVID, the aftermath of the COVID has ruined the year for most of us especially the Africans.  It doesn’t seem to be getting any better anywhere.

The Nations’ economies are staging brutal fightback at the expense of further spread of the virus.  Drastic measures are on the move  to curb it. Industries are shutting down and the situation remains bleak for many.

African Football is struggling, really struggling. Don’t be fooled by the big figures in the transfer market, only the big clubs engage in it and they are even restricted to one or two countries in Europe.

And this brings us to wonder what will become of the young football generation in our dear continent, Africa. The youth of Africa are taking a massive hit by this thing. While the governments and big bodies are seemingly looking out for each other. As a result of COVID, there are some who will never benefit from all forms of largesse and palliative. These are the ones we should be concerned about the most, the young generation of Africans.

We need to preserve the future.
